
Ancient Yogurt Scones

It is believed by many that this recipe
dates back to the Jurassic Era when these
wonderful Scones were prepared in caves, over a cooking fire.
Preheat your cave oven to 400'
1 1/2 cups of flour, ( not wheat flour )
1/2 cup Flax Seed Meal
2 1/2 t Baking Powder
1/2 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Sea Salt
1/4 C Sugar of Stevia equivalent.
1 Egg
1 C plain Yogurt
Combine wet and add to dry.
Use flour on your hands and counter, to reduce sticking.
( they will seem a little sticky ) more flour works well.
quickly form and cut into rounds using a glass.
Bake on greased cooking tray 13 to 15 min.
Wonderful hot from the oven,
also very nice when re toasted the following day
Try with fresh jam, Mmmmm
add some grated cheddar cheese, or basil whatever you have around your cave
